What I fix

Services

Mobile repair that comes to you — driveway, parking lot, or job site. No shop markup, no upsells. Just the work your vehicle actually needs.

Oil & Fluids

Regular fluid maintenance is the cheapest way to keep a vehicle running long-term.

Oil & filter change

Conventional or synthetic — your choice. Old filter out, new one in, proper torque on the drain plug.

Coolant flush

Flush old coolant and refill to spec. Prevents overheating and corrosion inside the cooling system.

Transmission fluid service

Drain and refill or full flush depending on your vehicle's service interval and condition.

Brake fluid flush

Moisture-contaminated brake fluid raises boiling point risk. Flush and refill with fresh DOT fluid.

Power steering fluid

Check, top off, or flush power steering fluid to keep steering smooth and protect the pump.

Brakes

Brakes are safety-critical. I replace only what's actually worn — not everything on the axle.

Brake pad replacement

Measure existing pads, replace when at or near minimum thickness. Front, rear, or both axles.

Rotor replacement

Measure rotor thickness and check for warping. Replace when below spec or causing pedal pulsation.

Brake caliper replacement

Seized or leaking calipers cause uneven wear and pulling. Replace the offending caliper and bleed the line.

Brake line repair

Rusted or damaged brake lines are a safety issue. Fabricate and replace the affected section.

Brake bleed

Remove air from the brake system after any hydraulic work to restore a firm pedal.

Engine & Tune-Up

From routine tune-ups to diagnosing a check engine light — I work on the engine, not around it.

Spark plug replacement

Worn plugs cause misfires, rough idle, and poor fuel economy. Replace on schedule or when symptoms appear.

Air filter replacement

Clogged air filters restrict airflow and hurt performance. Quick swap, big difference.

Serpentine belt replacement

A snapped serpentine belt leaves you stranded. Replace before it fails — usually every 60–100k miles.

Thermostat replacement

A stuck thermostat causes overheating or a heater that never warms up. Replace the thermostat and gasket.

Check engine light diagnosis

Scan codes, interpret the data, and tell you exactly what's wrong — not just the code number.

Valve cover gasket

Oil leaking from the top of the engine usually means a failed valve cover gasket. Replace and clean up the mess.

Battery & Electrical

Electrical gremlins are frustrating. I diagnose the actual cause instead of throwing parts at it.

Battery replacement

Test the existing battery and charging system. Replace the battery if it's failing — correct group size and terminal type.

Alternator replacement

A bad alternator drains the battery while driving. Test output, replace if below spec.

Starter replacement

Slow cranking or a click-and-nothing response usually points to the starter. Test and replace.

Fuse & relay diagnosis

Blown fuses and failed relays cause all kinds of weird electrical behavior. Trace the circuit and fix the root cause.

Charging system test

Full test of battery, alternator output, and voltage drop across the charging circuit.

Drivetrain

Clunks, vibrations, and pulling under acceleration — drivetrain problems don't fix themselves.

CV axle replacement

Clicking on turns or vibration under load means a worn CV joint. Replace the axle shaft.

U-joint replacement

Worn U-joints cause driveline vibration and clunking. Replace before they fail completely.

Wheel bearing replacement

Humming or grinding that changes with speed is usually a wheel bearing. Replace the hub assembly.

Transfer case service

Drain and refill transfer case fluid on 4WD and AWD vehicles per the service interval.

Suspension & Steering

Worn suspension makes a vehicle unsafe and uncomfortable. I replace what's actually bad.

Strut / shock replacement

Bouncy ride, nose-diving under braking, or uneven tire wear — worn struts and shocks need to go.

Ball joint replacement

Worn ball joints are a safety issue. Inspect and replace when play is detected.

Tie rod replacement

Loose or worn tie rods cause wandering and uneven tire wear. Replace and recommend an alignment.

Sway bar link / bushing

Clunking over bumps often traces back to worn sway bar links or bushings. Quick fix, big improvement.
