Why I Started This
I spent years watching people get taken advantage of at shops — charged for parts they didn't need, billed for hours that didn't happen, and handed back a car with new problems. I got tired of it.
So I went mobile. No shop means no rent, no service writers on commission, no pressure to pad a ticket. I show up, I diagnose the actual problem, I fix it, and I charge you for the time it took. That's the whole business model.
I serve all of Southern Iowa — your driveway, your parking lot, your job site. If you can park it, I can work on it.
How I Work
Billed by actual time
You pay for the hours I work on your vehicle — not what a book says the job should take. If it takes less time, you pay less.
Parts at cost
I don't mark up parts. You pay what I pay. I'll tell you the part cost upfront before ordering anything.
Diagnose first
I won't replace parts hoping to fix the problem. I find the actual cause, tell you what it is, and let you decide how to proceed.
No upsells
I fix what you came for. If I notice something else while I'm in there, I'll tell you — but I won't pressure you to add work to the ticket.
